Curls aloud! Forties siren Elizabeth Olsen shows off sensual waves on the set of Kill Your Darlings

She's already established a reputation for her sophisticated and quirky sense of style.
So it's no wonder that Elizabeth Olsen looks completely at home in her 1940s garb on the set of John Krokidas's Kill Your Darlings.
The 23-year-old was spotted with her hair in rollers during filming in Manhattan yesterday.

Elizabeth took advantage of her time in hair and makeup to catch up on her Blackberry correspondence, keeping comfortable in a baggy black jumper.
She later emerged on set sporting gorgeous loose waves in her honey blonde hair.
The actress suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction in the form of a slightly see-through top, which displayed the outline of her bra.

Elizabeth looked stylish nevertheless in loose cropped jeans, heeled sandals, and a jaunty patterned scarf.
The star is serious about forging an image as a respected actress, and recently told Bang showbiz: 'I always joke that the term ‘It girl’ is such an ephemeral thing.'
'So for me, it’s really nice that it has helped me kind of start my career and I’m so thankful that it got the attention that it did. Because now I’m in such a cool position of choosing really interesting roles.'

According to reports, Kill Your Darlings will be set in New York during the 1940s, when the Beat Generation were experimenting with drugs, sexuality and of course writing.
Elizabeth plays Edie Parker, author of her memoir, You'll Be Okay, and the first wife of Jack Kerouac.

The film, co-stars Daniel Radcliffe as gay Beat poet Allen Ginsburg and Dane DeHaan, who plays Beat Generation member Lucien Carr and Michael C Hall.
The drama revolves around the relationship between Ginsberg, Carr and writer Jack Kerouac and will be based on actual events.
It is thought that Carr's murder of his former lover David Kammerer in 1944 will also feature in the thriller, which is to be directed by John Krokidas.

Daniel has been excited about the project, saying: 'I am very, very enthused for that script and that young director.'
Ginsberg was most famous for his reactionary poem Howl which was published in 1956.
He passed away in 1997, aged 70, while Carr died back in 2005, aged 79.
