The Ex-EastEnder has recently finished filming tough reality show 71 Degrees North in the bitterly cold landscape of Scandinavia.
But surroundings were much more pleasant as she frolicked in the surf on the Spanish island of Majorca.
Sporting a blue and white-striped bikini the 28-year-old looked relaxed and at ease in the warm waters.
In the show Brooke was seen saving fellow contestant Rav Wilding after he plunged into a crevasse.
He was saved from plummeting up to 30ft by the quick-thinking actress.
Brooke, who played Kelly Taylor in the soap has been awarded an MBE for her campaigning against knife crime.
Her brother Ben was tragically stabbed to death in 2008.
And she says his spirit got her through the tough reality show.
She almost quit the arduous trek to the Arctic Circle – before the majestic Northern Lights appeared.
She said: "I know Ben was up there looking down."
At one point, she begged to go home, but she said: "Rav gave me a pep talk and said, 'Come on, you're doing this for your brother, he'd be so proud of you'.
"So I thought, 'Right, come on I can do this'. And I turned round and right at that moment, I swear, the Northern Lights came out.
"It was emotional, I cried."
She said of the show: "I've got no regrets. It has made me stronger."
